LaPlace Glass Works was established in 1984 by George Babin, Ronald Frederic, Kenneth Frederic, Clayton Jones and John Jones. It is currently owned by Harold DeGruy who has been with LaPlace Glass since 1987.

We have been serving the River Parishes area with all types of glass needs. Our Automotive team replaces windshields, side and rear glasses. They can replace that broken side mirror and repair those rock chips in your windshield. This team is led by Gerald Beck who has over 20 years in the glass industry.

Our Commercial team can replace or board up those broken glasses in your storefront. We design, furnish and install many types of commercial glazing systems. The latest is Hurricane Impact and Energy Efficient system. This team is led by Christopher DeGruy (13 yrs experience), Markese Porter and Eric Mazique (5-yrs ea.).

Our Residential team can replace those broken or fogged window panes in your house, install mirrors and custom shower doors in your bathroom, and custom cut those furniture tops. Led by Robert Rebstock (20 years experience), Jamie Arceneaux (10-yrs. experience) and Anthony Bruno (5-yrs. experience). This team also repairs heavy equipment for industrial and marine customers.

Our office staff will welcome you as soon as you enter the newly renovated showroom which showcases shower doors, mirrors, replacement windows, many types of custom glasses and a very comfortable waiting area. Our receptionist is Sydney Gardner (over 30-yrs. exp.), Allison Peters and Jason Galliano (over 20-yrs. exp in construction).
